Abstract

This research analyzes human errors in industrial inventory recording, identifying their causes, frequency, and consequences. A survey of 40 workers found that 60% use SAP, 30% Excel, and only 10% use advanced tools such as RFID, even though the latter reduce errors by up to 90%. Lack of training (47% without ongoing training) and reliance on manual processes are key factors in the occurrence of errors. Statistical analyses such as PCA were applied, revealing that those who combine modern technologies with training have a lower impact on errors. The research concludes that it is urgent to standardize process and promote technological adoption to improve operational efficiency.
