The importance of happiness at work for centennial youth: a comparison between men and women

Most people throughout their lives seek happiness, which is an emotion that arises from being satisfied with your achievements or when your wishes are fulfilled. For the Centennials generation, happiness in the workplace is an important aspect since work is where we spend much of our lives. The present study seeks to determine if there are differences in relation to happiness at work between men and women of the Centennials generation. The study method was a survey of 165 people, 82 men and 83 women, who are students of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, aged between 17 and 26 years. The results obtained show that there are both differences and similarities in relation to the work environment among young Centennials. In conclusion, happiness is very important factor and both men and women think in a very similar way in most aspects, so it is partially accepted the hypothesis which says that there are differences in relation to work happiness between men and women of the Centennials generation
