The biannual scientific journal Ingeniería y Gestión Industrial is edited and published by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León through the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, which arises from the opportunity to create a scientific platform to publish high impact articles in the Engineering areas, covering the different fields of knowledge in Engineering, Technology, Administration and Social Sciences, attending multidisciplinary areas and oriented to business management.

This initiative is a response to the scientific evolution of the academic area of industrial engineering and a source of knowledge dissemination for researchers interested in publishing original papers and unpublished scientific contributions such as; scientific articles, case studies and technical reports, with the objective of publicizing the advances in research and technology development as part of a new way of creating knowledge in its broadest context for researchers, technologists and related professionals, students and general audience at local, national and international levels. The Ingeniería y Gestión Industrial journal is a science publication aimed at those who are interested in sharing and diffusing their scientific contributions in the following thematic areas;
